Job Description:
Cleaning patient rooms - taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, sweeping, disinfecting around the room
Cleaning in high and low areas
Cleaning in operating rooms, emergency rooms, office space, hallways, patient rooms, and other parts of the hospital
Removing dirty linens and replacing with new ones
Collects/stores/transports biohazardous waste
Stocking carts with cleaning supplies needed for that shift
Making sure that supply closet is stocked
May clean up urine, blood, feces, and other things that you would see in a hospital
Adhering to PPE guidelines
Interacting with patients, visitors and staff
May lift/push up to 50 lbs. (pushing cart with trash or supplies or linens)
Skills and Qualifications Needed:
Must have 2-3 years of janitorial/custodial experience
Must be able to work overtime if needed
Must be comfortable working in a hospital environment
Shifts Available:
Monday to Friday 6:00pm - 2:30am
Tuesday - Saturday 10:00am - 6:30pm
Tuesday - Saturday 6:00am - 2:30pm
Sunday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Sunday - Thursday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
