Description We are seeking a Home Health Care Biller to join our team located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The selected individual will primarily focus on claim follow up on Home Health and Hospice claims, functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role presents a contract to permanent position as we continue to expand and enhance our service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications related to home health services.

• Administer and maintain precise customer credit records to ensure accurate claims.

• Handle claim administration and follow up on Home Health and Hospice claims, ensuring the highest level of service delivery.

• Utilize Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) and Microsoft Excel for efficient claim administration and customer credit record maintenance.

• Engage in billing functions and appeals, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.

• Oversee the collection processes, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards.

• Manage benefit functions, ensuring all responsibilities are executed accurately and efficiently.

• Continuously monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

• Maintain a 'start-up' mentality, adapting to changes and new tasks as required. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in appeals and claim administration

• Experience with benefit and billing functions

• Familiarity with collection processes

• Knowledge of Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Proactive problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
