Job Summary

　　The co-op program is an educational and clinical work experience for the high school students. The individual is responsible and accountable for performing a wide range of patient care tasks. The performance of tasks allows the care team to provide quality care.

　　Job Duties

　　The position will focus on providing patient care within a clinical scope of practice.

　　Fulfills designated responsibilities for ongoing continuum of care (non-assessment).

　　Identifies, observes, and documents the physical needs of the patient according to standards.

　　Assists with patient transfer and transport as needed.

　　Assists in problem solving, trouble shooting, and taking corrective measures in care and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

　　Assists in clerical responsibilities as required for task completion.

　　Suggests issues for improvement and offer solutions on issues.

　　Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. 　　Position Details

　　This program is open to current juniors (Class of 2025) who will be seniors in high school in the fall of 2024. This program will run both fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters.

　　Peek inside the world of radiology! As a co-op student with our radiology team, you’ll get to see how x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and more are taken on a variety of patients. We’ve also got a 3D lab!

　　You’ll learn about all the career paths in radiology and how each of these crucial roles informs the care and treatment of our patients.

　　No bones about it, a co-op in radiology will pull back the curtain on how this important field forms a cornerstone of diagnostic medicine.
