　　With several exciting projects due to land in 2024 including Hubbl, Foxtel is on the hunt for a Head of Insights and Reporting to enable Foxtel’s Hubbl Business to understand what their customers are doing now and, what they will do in the future.

　　Working with business users, data engineers, visualistion developers, product owners, marketers and strategy teams, this senior role is responsible for analyzing the vast amount data Foxtel collects across its digital streaming platforms and products like Binge and Kayo. You will be producing insights into what our customers are doing, product revenue opportunities, acquisition and retention, profitability, and ultimately, what we should building into our products to improve experiences and drive growth.

　　Who we are looking for;

　　You’ll love data. You’re skilled in data analysis, maths and statistics and you’re comfortable with data engineering and data science concepts. You’re also a gun when it comes to visualizing information, able to tell a “data story” and be passionate about turning data and analysis into insights that give others that “ah-ha!” moment.

　　You’re commercially orientated. You see data as the fuel for finding opportunities that promote growth and profitability. You’re able to build and present “the pack” that convinces senior leadership teams of the benefits of action and investment.

　　You’re a proven relationship builder. You’ll relish the opportunity of being the trusted adviser to product owners, senior management, marketers and strategists, helping them understand “what’s possible” through insights developed through application of solid data analysis to vast amounts of data.

　　Lastly, you will be “hands-on”. This is a role where you will switch between workshopping and design to building presentations, analyzing data, coding, SQL and visualization. You’ll be comfortable directly leading small teams and influencing broader groups of people that will enable the delivery of valuable insights.

　　A Typical Day...

　　Working directly with business stakeholders and product owners to understand the questions that need to be answered

　　Interpretation of data from data products, analytics and reports that enable business and product teams to understand the impacts of the insights you’ve produced and where/how they should be actioned

　　Building packs, writing memos and developing models that convey findings and prove opportunity.

　　Preparing for regular and ad-hoc meetings where you’ll present insights that “join the dots” between what the data says and its implications on business metrics and KPIs

　　Defining and helping to build data products that enable the business to understand and action data insights

　　Manage work plans, timelines and resources, monitor milestone completion, provide timely reporting of issues, coordinate actions and resolve blockers.

　　Direct leadership of a small team of analysts who are supporting the insight delivery process

　　Your experience and capability

　　Previous, demonstrable experience in a commercially and/or customer orientated insights and reporting role

　　5+ years of demonstratable experience applying data analysis techniques to business problems

　　Excellent stakeholder engagement and management including presentation skills and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible, engaging, confident manner

　　Prior experience leading small teams

　　Tableau visualization experience a bonus

　　SQL and code-based data analysis experience highly desirable

　　Experience working in Lean-Agile environments with a demonstratable understanding of the underlying concepts

　　Tertiary qualifications in a relevant business discipline well regarded (maths, statistics, computing, business)
