About Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master

  Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master for a contract with our client in Brooklyn Park, MN. 70% Remote. Job Description: The role of the IT Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize software development and other IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of cross functional team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Key Responsibilities: Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and Agile/Scrum methodology Track project milestones and deliverables. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. Required Basic Qualifications: Self-starter and motivated (CAN DO!) to learn/improve processes working with multiple teams (both technical and business teams). Must have familiarity with IT terms (specifically Data Base, Data Wharehouse, Data Lake projects) Azure DevOps experience Ability to accurately capture and measure KPIs for team success Great collaborator and detail oriented provide stakeholder updates (weekly, monthly, quarterly ad hoc) Agile IT Project Management (2-4 years preferred) using data and information to make business decisions, with experience leading/coaching a team Detailed understanding of AGILE framework Standups Facilitate productive collaboration of teams and act as the facilitator in unblocking team members. Retrospectives Ability to facilitate productive conversation and review with the team. Product Refinement/Grooming Sprint Planning Monitor Allocation/Capacity Nice to haves: Release Management Skills Software Development understanding APIs, SQL etc. Specialty Pharmacy experience a plus but not a requirement. Cloud/SaaS experience Jira / Confluence experience QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in technology, management, business or a related field 5 years' direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution and is accountable for their deliverables 2-4 years of Agile/Scrum Project methodology experience Strong familiarity with project management software, (Jira/Confluence experience a plus) Demonstrated experience in personnel management (Coaching and leading teams) Technically competent with various software programs Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and pr blem-solving capabilities Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies Customer service skills an asset Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: Related Professional Certification i.e. PMP, CSM, ACP or similar Experience working with Data Warehouse, Enterprise Data Management, Data Lake Release Management Skills Software Development understanding APIs, SQL etc. Specialty Pharmacy experience a plus but not a requirement. Cloud/SaaS experience Azure DevOps Experience Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $63.00-$68.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
