Clean and polish removableappliances. Expose dental diagnostic x-rays. Fabricate and fitorthodontic appliances and materials for patients, such as retainers,wires, or bands. Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressionsfrom preliminary impressions. Instruct patients in oral hygiene andplaque control programs.
