In our IT unit, IoT Platform Services, we are seeking a multifaceted leader to drive our Security, Identity, and Protection department.

As the Head of Security, Identity, and Protection, you will orchestrate several teams responsible for:

What part will you play?

Encryption Technology: Safeguarding authentication, encrypting critical data, supporting integrity with signing technologies, and securing Siemens device and product identities throughout their lifecycle

Identity Management: Providing and supervising identities for our global IT, spanning cloud and on-premises infrastructure, as well as business partner scenarios

Trust Access: Implementing IAM automation, Privileged Access Management, and IT Asset Identification based on Zero Trust principles

Security Operation: Ensuring credible security for our high-secure data center and global services

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Siemens' platform strategy, tailoring our services to meet the evolving needs of Siemens and its businesses

Your Responsibilities:

Lead the Security, Identity, and Protection department, coordinating approximately 70 global employees

Develop and enhance the service portfolio for Security, Identity, and Protection

Craft and provide services with a focus on technical feasibility, security, legal compliance, and cost efficiency

Feed partnerships with relevant Siemens units and collaborate closely with IPS service management and operations teams

Mentor and empower team leaders, driving competence development within the department

What You Need to Make Real What Matters:

You have experience in leading international IT teams (ideally IT Solution Architects and Service Managers).

You are known as a digital leader who knows how to drive a highly motivated team.

Strong strategic demeanor with the ability to balance hands-on involvement and a broader perspective.

Even though you have a hands-on approach, your strategic mentality and helicopter view help you work proactively and anticipate challenges.

As a leader, your outstanding communication style, work field, and capacity to get things done lead by example.

Customers and colleagues adore you because you truly understand their needs.

Experience in IoT/Cloud Architecture and Solution Design.

Proficiency in both German and English is required.
