　　Contribute to the Siemens SaaS journey!

　　You will accelerate the transformation of Siemens to become a major SaaS player in the core domains of manufacturing, buildings and mobility. Siemens set the ambition to grow within the SaaS business over the next years. Managed cloud operations of SaaS offerings become a core competency as a key success factor for profitability in the SaaS business. To achieve this goal your contribution will be to support Siemens units in setting up their SaaS solutions on scalable and re-useable managed cloud services.

　　Siemens IT has a decades long experience in operations of business-critical solutions and environments on private cloud level, public cloud level and transforms those capabilities to edge level e.g. factories and buildings in decentralized environments. You will develop cloud architectures together with product units of Siemens, consult them how to leverage managed cloud services in DevOps and guide services teams how to shape out managed cloud services to make them scalable and re-usable. Here you will closely interact with teams from SCORE, X, Technology, SI BuildingX, DI XO and IT. You will drive the concepts of how to transfer managed services from public cloud to hybrid cloud environments in seamless approaches.

　　What part will you play?

　　Defining cloud architectures with product development teams on managed cloud services;

　　Consult and guide product owner teams how to re-use managed cloud services in their environments;

　　Guide service operations teams to establish the required operation models for cloud services;

　　Identify opportunities for new re-usable cloud services with scaling potential;

　　Develop hybrid cloud approaches how to service scalable service on public, private and hybrid cloud environments in an efficient way;

　　You will work on customer offers and cost estimations for globally operated SaaS offerings.

　　What you need to make real what matters

　　A University degree in IT or engineering

　　Experience in public cloud architecture roles with demonstrated impact (preferably on AWS)

　　Experience shaping and setting up successful SaaS offerings from architectural point of view

　　Dreams and details capabilities – To see and develop the big-picture, but being also able to break it down to operationalization

　　Experience in leading others, also in mixed team setups, dealing across geographies and cultures, and communicating on top management level

　　Good moderation skills, the ability to open rooms for visionary discussions, as well as to drive meetings to concrete practical and valuable outcomes

　　Strong network within Siemens of benefit

　　You are a systemic problem solver and you are able to connect the dots

　　You play in teams and have excellent people skills and the adaptability to connect quickly with people

　　Proficiency in English
