　　The Groundskeeper/Maintenance AssistantÂis responsibleforcreating a warm and welcoming environment by keeping the communitytidy andassistingin fixing minor issuesthroughoutthe grounds and buildings.Â

　　Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to:ÂÂTouch up paint/breezewaysÂÂPick up groundsÂÂBleach breezeway stainsÂÂCleanelevatorsÂÂCheck/change all light bulbsÂÂEmpty trashcansÂÂBlow out breezeways/garagesÂÂWalk breezewaysÂÂPressure wash buildings/sidewalksÂÂEmpty pet stationsÂÂMinor or routine maintenanceÂÂClubhouse/Fitness Center/Bathroom cleaningÂÂReport all property discrepancies to SupervisorÂÂ

　　Previouscustodial experience preferred.ÂÂ

　　Effective written and verbal communication skills.ÂÂ

　　Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skillsrequired.ÂÂHigh school diploma or equivalency preferred.ÂÂCapable of working extended hours,to includeevenings,weekendsandholidaysas necessary.ÂMust be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so thatvarious typesof communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.Â

　　Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting,carryingand moving objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day.Mustalso be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.Â

　　This position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with proper lighting,toanoutdoorssetting with variable climate and lighting.ÂÂMust be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.ÂMust be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions,changesand delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons,employeemust remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns.ÂÂ
