Description

We are excited to offer an unique opportunity for a talented Graphic Designer to join a local museum on a 1-year contract basis to craft riveting visuals for special exhibits.

Responsibilities:

Concepts, develops, and executes aesthetically compelling graphics for special exhibits

Collaborate with the exhibits team in designing and producing exhibition-related materials including banners, posters, digital assets and signage

Provides design and conceptual ideas for museum exhibits including physical and digital installations

Manage multiple projects and ensure all work is delivered on-time, on-budget, and high quality

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field

Minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience preferably within a museum or similar cultural institution

Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D rendering software

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work under pressure

A portfolio showcasing a strong creative process and innovative solutions

This is a hybrid, contract position. The selected candidate will need to work during regular office hours.
