　　Qualifications

　　Completion of high school, or combination of education and training deemed equivalent an asset.

　　Experience in a similar or relevant role, an asset.

　　Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including: standing, sweeping, pushing/pulling carts, walking on uneven surfaces, reaching forward, reaching above and below the shoulders, ability to lift up to 20kg.

　　Ability to read, write and speak English to understand verbal work orders, instructions and material such as short notes, brief forms etc.

　　Ability to do simple mathematical calculations (e.g. adding, subtracting, etc.)

　　Job Responsibilities

　　· Dust and/or damp wipe all furniture and fixtures at established frequencies.

　　Empty trash receptacles, replace liners as necessary. Remove trash less than 30 lbs to designated area.-Spot clean walls, partitions, light switches and doors.

　　-Clean partition glass within arm?s reach.

　　Dust baseboards and low air vents.

　　Clean and disinfect all high touch surfaces at established frequencies.

　　Restock all dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins or other supplies as necessary. Knowledge of safe material handling practices.

　　-Performing routine cleaning (surface disinfection, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.) of all areas of the facility including but not limited to occupied patient rooms, clinic areas, nursing station, waiting rooms/areas, lobbies, washrooms, offices, kitchen, utilitity rooms, corridors, equipment, and public areas in accordance with quality standards, procedures, and training.

　　Performing other duties in support of the Housekeeping function; performing cross-functional and other duties as assigned and/or required
