　　12 Hour Shifts

　　2 Weeks Days 2 Weeks nights; 3 on 2 off ( off 26 weekends a year)Job Function:

　　Maintain, install, and perform general maintenance duties to allphysical equipment used throughout the factory.

　　Materials:

　　AC and DC motors and generators. Transformers. Circuit breakers.Rectifiers. Control panels. Starters. Switches. Lighting equipment.Solder. Tape. Conduit. Wire. Insulation. Hardware. Pipe. Sheet metal.Rigging.

　　Tools and Equipment:

　　Electrician\'s, mechanic\'s, plumber\'s, and carpenter\'s hand tools.Cutting torch. Ammeter. Oscilloscope. Special single line tools.Polariscope. Ladders. Scaffolds. Rolls. Hoists. Bars. Electric drills.Pipe benders. Saw. Hammer. Drill press. Power saw. Grinder. Table saw.Arc or TIG welder. Electrical test equipment, lathes. Hammer drills.Sawzalls.

　　Education:

　　Prefers successful completion of an apprenticeship program and holds aJourneyman card but will consider extensive verifiable experiance.

　　Working Procedure:

　　General electric installation, repair and troubleshooting, generalmechanical repair and installation, fabrication and welding, pneumaticrepair and troubleshooting.

　　Electronic troubleshooting and repair to include circuit reading andtesting, operation of testers and multimeters.

　　Instrument repair and troubleshooting including cylinders, motors,pumps, filters, etc.

　　Perform hydraulic troubleshooting including cylinders, motors, pumps,filters, etc.

　　Perform general carpentry and painting.

　　Perform general plumbing, piping, and mechanical installation andrepair.

　　Perform compressor repair including centrifugal, screw and reciprocal,controls, aftercoolers, air dryers; troubleshoot and repairrefrigeration and air conditioning systems.

　　Read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical prints andtroubleshoot problems using them.

　　Troubleshoot and repair all inspection equipment, conveyors, computersystems, and programmable controllers, performs general housekeepingmiscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

　　Environmental Conditions:

　　Must be prepared to work inside or outside as necessary formaintain, service, or repair all plant process problems.Exposures to dusts of batch materials, glass coating chemicals,welding fumes.Temperatures: heat from furnace and glass forming processes;seasonal variations.About Ardagh Group
