  Summary

  As a Roadway Testing Technician, you will be responsible for in-the-field testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials. Candidates that are successful in this field enjoy working the majority of the time in a construction setting outdoors. They are also highly dependable and possess the ability to work independently. 2+ years of experience is necessary along with a Georgia Department of Transportation(GDOT) Roadway Testing Technician (RTT) and either ACI Level 1 Concrete Technician or GDOT concrete certification. A GDOT Quality Control Testing (QCT) Level 1 certification would be desirable.

  Job Responsibilities

  Travel to various job sites in a company provided vehicle

  Perform sampling and testing on construction materials, such as concrete, soils and asphalt

  Document field activity and report the findings to clients and supervisors

  Communicate with various field personnel and colleagues

  Job Requirements

  You must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED

  2+ Years of experience

  RTT and ACI or GDOT Concrete Certification required, QCT Level 1 Desired

  You will need a valid driver's license with an acceptable record

  Working with concrete will require you to have the ability to lift 50-75 pounds repeatedly with or without accommodations

  Have to ability to read, write, and use a computer effectively
