As a Qualcomm Software Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, product demonstrations, design and development of customer specific requirements, commercialization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to address questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding software systems and applications.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　BS in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronic, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, MS preferred.

　　Good knowledge for software development and debug.

　　C++/Python/Java programming experience.

　　Be familiar with one or more AI frameworks like TensorFlow, Pytorch, Mxnet, Caffee2, ONNX.

　　Be familiar with major machine learning and deep understanding for deep learning like CNN, LSTM, RNN, know how for computing benchmark test like MLPerf.

　　Be familiar with Google Colab, Jupyter Notebook, Jupyter Hub

　　Be familiar with major AI accelerator chip architecture , like GPU card or data center experience.

　　Good verbal and written communication skills in English

　　Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Applies Software Application knowledge and technical expertise of software systems to assist with technical presentations in support of business development, customer training, product demonstrations, commercialization, customization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products.

　　Collaborates with team members to answer customer inquiries and support debug issues in customer design software systems.

　　Assists with completing tasks related to system architecture and feature-specific customizations tailored for customer requirements from proof of concept to final product commercial launches.

　　Assists in assessing potential application of company products, preparing product specifications, disseminating technical information, and/or troubleshooting issues regarding software tools and products.

　　Writes product technical documentation, application notes, and FAQs.

　　Deep Learning Models Compiling, Algorithm optimization, Performance Benchmark, AI application integration, AI framework Integration, Graph and Backend Compiler Development.

　　Multimedia software development based on the Qualcomm Windows platform.

　　Level of Responsibility:

　　• Works under supervision.

　　• Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.

　　• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.

　　• Tasks consist of a limited number of steps and can be referenced using directions or manuals.
