Description:
Seeking an Epic Clarity Data Analyst with a focus on revenue cycle toleverage healthcare data and convert it into meaningful information thatcan be utilized to make sound business decisions. The role will involvecollaborating directly with data scientists, software engineers, EHRteams, clinical & operational teams, and senior leadership to provideinsights and oversee data analysis within revenue cycle projects. Thisrole will identify and develop requirements, project design, andexecution to enhance the value and cost-effectiveness of outcomes withinrevenue cycle operations.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Extract, transform, and analyze healthcare data related to revenuecycle operations.
2. Create and communicate data analysis reports and visualizations tostakeholders.
3. Oversee and contribute to the development of Epic Clarity reports.
4. Identify opportunities in revenue cycle workflows through userobservation, data
analysis, and experimentation.
5. Ensure data-driven solutions are addressing measurable problems.
6. Collaborate with IT staff, clinicians, and faculty to integrateadvanced technology and
protocols into operational outcomes.
7. Conduct hands-on analysis and statistical forecasting to refine andguide revenue cycle
informatics, design, and workflow.
8. Run usability tests and adapt designs accordingly to ensure asatisfactory user
experience.
9. Create strategy documents, data dictionaries, and other projectdocuments as needed.
10. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the user experienceand informatic
foundation is carried through the design and development of digital andhealth system
solutions.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Bachelor of Science degree
2. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with 2 years of thatexperience tied to data
analysis within the healthcare setting.
3. Proficiency in Epic Clarity reporting and revenue cycle modules.
4. Competent in SQL, Python or R
5. Strong grasp of analytic and statistical methods.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
1. Knowledge and application of project management disciplines in acomplex
environment.
2. Experience observing stakeholders and workflows to learn aboutunderlying problems
and potential solutions.
3. Clinical experience in the inpatient or outpatient setting.
4. Experience in facilitating, leading, and influencing largeinterdisciplinary project teams.
5. Experience with Agile Development methods and tools.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
7. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technicalabilities.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
1. Epic Clarity Data Model certification
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
1. Epic Revenue Cycle certification
2. Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) certification.
