　　Job Description

　　What you will be doing: Reporting to the Director of Rooms, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

　　Responsible for assigning rooms to the room attendants

　　Responsible for assigning work to the house attendants, public area attendants and heavy-duty attendants

　　Ensures that all rooms receive daily housekeeping service in a timely manner

　　Maintains housekeeping daily control sheet

　　Updates information in the PMS in a timely manner throughout the day

　　Communicates with the Front Desk regarding rooms and guests in a timely and appropriate manner

　　Communicates maintenance needs and follows up in a timely and appropriate manner

　　Processes guest Laundry and Dry Cleaning.

　　Handles Lost and Found items according to Standard Operating Procedures

　　Issues and receives keys and devices daily

　　Follows standard Operating Procedures and SMI policies consistently

　　Clean rooms if needed 

　　Qualifications

　　Your experience and skills include: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

　　Previous supervisory experience required, preferably in a Hotel setting

　　Previous experience with Property Management System an asset

　　Ability to communicate in Spanish an asset

　　Diploma/Certification in Hospitality, Hotel, and/or Restaurant discipline an asset

　　Service focused personality and passion for hospitality

　　Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders

　　Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills

　　Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure

　　Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance

　　Open availability 

　　Bilingual Spanish/English
