Description

We are on the hunt for a Part-Time Onsite Full Charge Bookkeeper in the retail industry, based in Waipahu, Hawaii. As a Part-Time Onsite Full Charge Bookkeeper, your role will entail keeping accurate financial records, executing accounting functions, and undertaking special projects aimed at improving processes. Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of accounting functions

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Computerized Accounting System for financial tasks

• Conduct reconciliation of all accounts to the general ledger

• Oversee the reconciliation of the general ledger through trial balance or all the way through financials

• Handle bank reconciliations for multiple accounts

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger

• Compile monthly financial statements

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Perform cash flow analysis

• Execute special projects aimed at improving accounting processes.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in the Retail - Furniture industry.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, with a focus on integrating these systems into existing business operations.

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Computerized Accounting Systems.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and manipulate large data sets.

• Comprehensive knowledge of full cycle accounting functions, with the ability to manage all financial transactions from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

• Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including the management of billing, invoicing, and payment processing.

• Experience with Cash Flow Analysis, with the ability to forecast future trends and advise on financial planning strategies.
