Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Pompano Beach, Florida. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our team, dealing with multiple entity accounting and working closely with the controller to set up chart of accounts for LLC's. This role entails the use of QuickBooks online and Microsoft Excel, as well as handling payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Handle multiple entity bookkeeping tasks including billing, payroll, and auditing

• Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel to manage and organize financial data

• Collaborate with the controller to set up chart of accounts for LLC's

• Manage payroll operations efficiently and accurately

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Outlook to facilitate communication and documentation

• Perform accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records

• Job costing and accounting experience

• Open to working on Saturdays

• Work in close conjunction with the team to ensure financial operations run smoothly

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the construction industry for billing process and familiarization with lingo.

Requirements

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is a must

• Knowledge of full cycle payroll is required

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites is necessary

• Should be well versed with Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed

• Ability to perform chart of accounts

• Background in construction or heavy equipment

• Should be skilled in executing billing functions
