Description
Robert Half Buffalo has ongoing opportunities for a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of an organization.
Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Reconcile entries and ensure accuracy in financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Maintain an organized and efficient filing system for financial records.
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
Relevant professional certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
