　　Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for part-time / as-needed Psychologist positions with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program.

　　This program exclusively serves people who have recently been determined to be incompetent to stand trial due to their mental illness.

　　The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible. The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and restore people to competency.

　　Services are provided to individuals who are adult inmates at San Diego County jails.

　　As a Forensic Psychologist with Liberty, you will work on an as needed basis and be responsible for administering psychological assessments, conducting competency evaluations, and writing summary reports.

　　The majority of this work may be done virtually / remotely from your home office, however you will occasionally need to attend in-person meetings and testify in-person in court.

　　You can expect an hourly compensation rate between $60.00 and $65.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience).

　　You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally in California as a Psychologist.

　　Training in Forensic Psychology and experience evaluating individuals for competency is preferred.

　　Although you will work on an as needed basis, you should be willing and able to set aside one weekday each week and approximately 8 hours each week to be available for this work.
