Description:

　　looking for a Fire Alarm Design Engineer to join their team. This person must have prior Fire Alarm design experience in large commercial environments. Diversified does mostly all manufacturing and industrial facilities that are multibuilding campuses and are very large and complex. This person should have experience working with other systems to include suppression, vesda, gas etc. This person will recieve structural drawings from the customer, design the fire alarm system layout, provide design to the drafting team, approve the prints and provide back to the customer. They will interface with the customer on a regular basis to reveiw and make changes to the designs. These projects are multi year and they currently have projects in NC, IN, CO, GA and AL. This is a new team as they won the contract to do all low voltage designs for an undisclosed national commercial construction General Contractor. . Any manufacturing certifications would be a plus Notifier, Silentnite, Firelite, Edwards, EST etc. This position is 95% remote, however will need to visit an office for training, meetings and visit customer sites 1 or 2 times a year. Looking for this person to be within 1-2 hour drive from one of their offices. Office locations in Nashville TN, Knoxville TN, Birmingham AL or Raleigh NC. Home office is in Nashville.
