Finxact - Software Development Engineer in Test

What does a successful Software Development Engineer in Test do at Fiserv?

You will automate test scripts by taking non-technical details and converting them into automated scripts.

What you will do:

Deliver quality Software Components by developing robust tests

Monitor steps in the SDLC, including testing, debugging, and delivery

Ensure final product meets requirements prior to release

Analyze test results for user behavior issues, bugs, and suggest solutions to minimize problems

Support partners and clients by packaging and deliver relevant test scripts and tools with each build and release 

What you will need to have:

5+ years of experience developing and/or testing SaaS Applications

2+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful APIs, Postman and Newman

1+ years of experience HTTP API Routing Frameworks and Webservices

1+ years of experience with Agile Scrum Framework

1+ years of experience creating and executing comprehensive Test Strategies

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work or military experience

What would be great to have:

Experience with GitLab

Experience with PostgreSQL and pgAdmin

Experience with AWS

Experience with DataDog

Experience with Jira and Confluence
