Directly supervises a group of instrument assemblers and/or technicians involved in the production of electroforce instruments ensuring that work is performed in accordance with established working procedures; trains, evaluates performance, and recommends disciplinary actions. Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations. Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications. Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data. Education: Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Production Management, or closely related field Experience: 5+ years of Manufacturing related experience. 2+ year of Supervisory experience in a Manufacturing Production environment.
