The Data & Analytics team consists of a diverse set of Financial Data Analysts (FDAs) supporting Banking, Insurance, Corporate Finance, Sovereign, Public Finance and Structured Finance Lines of Business. The teams are located in Vilnius, London, Bangalore, New York, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, and Tokyo in order to support Analysts based in EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific. FDAs contribute towards the financial analysis part of the rating process which has a significant impact on any given rating.
Role/Responsibilities:
The Financial Data Analysts role provides an opportunity to make a significant contribution towards the success of the ratings teams through support in financial analysis and discrete projects. FDAs primarily support Corporate Finance and Infrastructure Lines of Business:
The FDA uses accounting and finance knowledge and judgement to perform financial statement analyses, adjust reported data per relevant methodology requirements and analyze ratios
Work directly with ratings and support analysts to explain data, adjustments and other information needed by the rating team
Liaise with analysts, knowledge managers and accounting specialists to understand the application of accounting concepts on a particular entity
Review, adjust and publish data to external market participants
Work on technology projects, accounting changes, documentation updates and implementation of process improvements

Qualifications:
English (written and spoken)
Additional European language is considered an advantage
B.A. or B.S. degree is required, specializations in Accounting, Finance or Economics
1-2 years of relevant work experience is considered as an advantage (can include internship experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and particularly Excel
Annual base salary gross: € 18,800 - 30,200. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
