  Financial Analyst

  Job Location:  Cressona, PA

  JobSummary:To support the Controller in the accurate and timely reporting of daily, monthly, and annual financial and nonfinancial data for the Cressona PA. Provide financial data and assistance to both manufacturing and the management team. This position will report to the Plant Controller.

  Job Responsibilities:Perform month end-closing activities to achieve Hydro's current two day close. Complete various financial and non- financial reporting monthly reporting requirements.Provide financial and manufacturing data analysis to manufacturing and administrative managersof both a recurring and ad-hoc nature.Help Coordinate the development of the annual business plan and early warnings.Ensure compliance with Hydro financial policies and procedures. Report issues to Controller if anissue was to arise.Assist the finance and manufacturing team with projects that help optimize Cressona's profitability goals.Perform manufacturing spend analysis to assist in spend control activities and provide spend/financial analysis to manufacturing department management on weekly/monthly basis and as needed. Active participation in monthly spend review meetings with line managers.Provide advice to plant personnel on proper accounting treatment of financial transactions asrequested.Participate in the bi-yearly physical inventory and planning.Cross train with the Finance Team as needed.

  Preferred Skills/Qualifications:Manufacturing Industry experience preferred but not required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products like Excel. Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred.Experience working on cross functional teams is preferred.

  Required Education/Experience:A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills required.
