　　The responsibility of our Financial Accountant involves ensuring the precision and reliability of financial data through proficient month-end reporting and thorough reviews of our balance sheets. This role necessitates an accomplished accounting professional with a solid grasp of financial principles, a demonstrated history of implementing process enhancements, and the capability to enhance the overall financial well-being of EssilorLuxottica. The position also requires fostering positive relationships with business units and ensuring the timely achievement of crucial accounting deadlines.

　　Requirements for Success

　　Oversee and orchestrate the month-end close process across various operations.

　　Ensure the punctual and precise submission of financial reports.

　　Analyse financial data and convey insights to pertinent stakeholders.

　　Handle journal processing and collaborate with the shared services team.

　　Conduct regular in-depth reviews of balance sheet accounts for accuracy and completeness.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any outstanding issues.

　　Devise optimal solutions for mutual benefit.

　　Implement controls to mitigate risks and uphold robust internal controls for safeguarding financial assets.

　　Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance accounting and financial processes

　　Skills & Experience

　　Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field

　　CPA or equivalent certification

　　Advanced knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Excel

　　3+ years’ experience in financial accounting roles

　　Ability to navigate and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced international environment.

　　Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across multiple levels of organisations

　　Solid understanding of disputes resolution process.

　　Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, and analysis

　　Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
