Description Robert Half has a career-building opportunity for a Staff Accountant with experience and skill to join their team on a full-time basis. As Staff Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. Throughout the monthly close, you will also be responsible for various aspects of internal reporting. You will lend your skills in assisting the development and implementation of accounting policies. Also, you will participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. This role is very integrated as it plays a part in the production of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. 　　Major responsibilities

　　Take part in various department-wide initiatives

　　Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments

　　Regularly maintain and reconcile journal entries

　　Manage intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

　　Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on

　　Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation

　　Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable

　　Perform the month end close and produce journal entries under minimal supervision

　　Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested Requirements - Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

　　Be detailed, flexible, and organized

　　Efficient in ERP systems

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

　　Self-starter and strong ethical standards

　　QuickBooks experience

　　Prepare Balance Sheets experience preferred

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience highly desired

　　Proficiency in Construction Accounting

　　QuickBooks Enterprise experience

　　Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
