A Day in the Life
This position will enable growth by providing key business insights, operating metrics, financial metrics, management reporting to leadership team, Governance of legal entity, Ensure strong controls and strict adherence to finance policies and procedures. Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements. This person will report functionally to the Senior Finance Manager of Indonesia and Subcon dotted line reporting to Financial Controller of ISEA.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide analytical and business partnering support & insights to optimize performance, including financial statement analysis, KPIs, business performance commentary, and forecasting to various levels of management
Responsible for building a strong governance & control framework, financial operations, working capital and cash flow management Capex management
Responsible for all internal controls, support statutory audit and corporate audit in those areas
Providing leadership to the finance team including responsibility for the individual development of team members and succession planning
Preparing monthly/quarterly/ yearly reports, preparation of the strategic plans and the annual operating plan
Routinely communicate financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecast, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications.
Lead scenario modeling efforts for the development and growth of the portfolio. Monitor competitor dynamics, participate as a key thought leader, influencing decision making and prioritization of initiatives
Influence the accuracy and effectiveness of the corporate accounting consolidation and closing process and treasury operations through analytical review and trend analysis
Develop and execute processes to allow for routine analytical reviews of company financial and operational performance, leveraging business unit analytical resources and tools
Understanding of the local taxation laws (Companies Act, vat Act etc) and ability to understand transfer pricing concepts and its implications
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
7 – 10 years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility, especially with exposure to international operations
CA/MBA Fin- Big 4 experience is a plus
Commercial experience is preferred
Ability to manage several projects or tasks and conclude timely
Strong influence management skills.
Excellent knowledge of Ms Excel & Ms PowerPoint
Experience on an ERP system including General Ledger, automated entries and reporting
Good communication skills & interpersonal skills
SAP experience
Prior experience with transfer pricing, direct & indirect taxation
