The Goddard School located in Edmond off Western is an early childhood education center currently seeking a Full Time and Part Time Summer School-Age Teacher!  Our faculty is comprised of caring and dedicated teachers with a strong foundation in early childhood education. We encourage our teachers to utilize their creativity to implement our proprietary curriculum through fun and imaginative activities. We truly believe that learning through play is the key to a life-long love of learning! School-Age Teachers are responsible for: * Maintaining supervision for 20-40 school-aged children at all times  * Following a daily schedule that includes implementing activities and projects  * Ensure materials for each activity/project is available to children * Meeting the individual emotional and physical needs of children in your care * Creating and maintaining a physical environment that is welcoming and stimulating for all children and families * Interacting with children to support learning through play and exploration * Implement developmentally appropriate classroom management strategies to ensure success for all students * Communicating appropriately and professionally with students, families, and fellow staff * Comply with all Quality Assurance and state standards to ensure each child's safety and well-being * Create a nurturing and positive learning environment to develop a life-long love of learning for all children Teacher Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Prefer B.S. in Early Childhood Education or state certified teaching certificate * Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten) * Strong written and communication skills  * Displays fluency in written and oral communication * A strong desire to mold and shape the minds of young children The Goddard school offers competitive compensation and benefits based on experience, education and certifications.
