Job Title: Finance Business Manager
Location: Lexington, MA
About the role:
The Finance Business Manager will play a vital role at the Mass Biologics Ops manufacturing site. You will oversee the product costs for all stages of manufacturing. You will develop a deep understanding of the commercial manufacturing processes, have an intrinsic curiosity about the pharmaceutical industry, an eagerness to collaborate in solving complex business challenges, and a drive to learn.
This is a hybrid role and you will report to the Finance Site Head.
How you will contribute:
Set up the standard cost for direct and indirect overhead and the bill of material for all products manufactured at this site.
Validate and analyze the cost of production as part of the month-end close.
Perform variance analysis such as manufacturing variances, cost revaluation, and work order variances.
Lead cost accounting initiatives directed by corporate.
Assist with and ensure successful internal and external audits.
Designated as super user on TM1 and SAP applications.
Be an internal consultant that is results oriented.
Independently solve complex problems with potential to impact the site. Expert on policies, trends and contemporary practices. Apply knowledge to co-create innovative solutions.
Translate complex decisions and change initiatives into prioritized and integrated processes.
Work with multiple departments, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and R&D to help set-up and determine the product costs with the responsibility to analyze, reconcile and report out. Foster team collaboration and flexibility in a team environment across multiple time zones.
What you bring to Takeda:
Master's degree and 6+ years of Accounting or related experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of Accounting or related experience.
In-depth experience in cost accounting and manufacturing processes.
Adept at scenario planning and predictive analytics driven forecasting.
