Description
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for an ENT Technician for its Ames office. Candidates should be be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsible for assisting in the delivery of ENT patient care in accordance with McFarland Clinic's Core Values and Promise.
Procedure equipment set up and cleaning. Assisting surgeon with cultures and specimens.
Assists with the scheduling of labs, imaging, and referrals.
Assists receptionists in scheduling appointments along with other receptionist duties.
Preparation of next days electronic charts, including obtaining outside imaging, labs and notes prior to the scheduled appointment.
Scanning necessary documents into chart.
Prior authorizations as needed for surgeries, medications, imaging as an assistant, not as the primary job duty.
Education
High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program with verification of certification.
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Will consider PT, 3 days per week. No evenings, weekends or holidays.
Experience
Prefer EMT's
Prefer CNA's with prior work experience
Experience as a prior non-certified medical assistant with prior work experience
Medical Terminology is required within 1 year of employment
