Description

We are seeking a File Clerk to join our team in the government industry based in MC MURRAY, Pennsylvania. This role is integral to our operations, with a focus on maintaining and organizing both electronic and manual files of confidential records. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. This role is 100% onsite and pays $17-$18 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Manage electronic and manual filing systems, ensuring records are organized and easily accessible

• Process and enter data accurately and efficiently into the relevant systems

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records as needed

• Utilize e-Filing and Data Entry skills to enhance efficiency and accuracy of work

• Adhere to all relevant government regulations and standards in performing duties

• Ensure confidentiality of records is maintained at all times

• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements • Experience in a government setting is preferred

• Proficient in e-Filing

• Excellent data entry skills

• Familiarity with file management and record keeping

• Strong organizational skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
