  Field Service Technician II - Philadelphia, PA/Baltimore, MD

  About the Role:

  At Boston Scientific, the Field Technician II will function as interface to patients to perform service-related activities (Troubleshooting, Complaint Handling, RGA's, etc.). Accountable for complying with all Regulatory requirements with respect to complaint handling and maintaining the accuracy of the data within BSC business systems.

  Your Responsibilities Include:

  Reporting of field activitiesElectronic troubleshooting and component replacementPreventative and corrective maintenanceReporting all other complaints regarding products and documenting in complaint handling system for follow-upEquipment upgradesSystem installationPerform other related duties as assigned, including special projects.

  What We're Looking For:

  Required Qualifications:

  Two-year college degree (AA) preferred with a biomedical or electronics major (equivalent education accepted) and or related work experience.Able to work independently and responsibly with some supervision & manage multiple assignments effectively.Excellent computer networking, equipment troubleshooting, administrative and communication skills.Familiar with all standard electronic test equipment, including Digital Multi-Meters and safety analyzers.Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time.Ability to travel at a moment's notice and for multiple days without constraints.Have a vehicle for service five years or newer and meet insurance requirements for business.Have a clean driving record.Ability to occasionally lift heavy items up to 75lbs.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Field service medical equipment experience preferred.Prior Technical Field Service, Biomedical, or Military technical MOSElectrophysiology, Laser, Medical Imaging, or Cath Lab technical/Clinical experience preferred.RSRBSCRequisition ID:573873
