JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ziegler currently has an opening for a Field ServiceDispatch Supervisor. We are looking for a leader to help us continue togrow our business and continue to provide superior service for ourcustomers. The Field Service Dispatch Supervisor directs the BranchField Service Technicians to ensure an efficient, safe, and profitableoperation to support Branch and Corporate objectives, and maintains thehighest quality of service to the customer. Responsibilities: Leads thefield service team to ensure an efficient, safe, and profitableoperation Documents incoming calls and dispatches jobs to field servicetechnicians Administers our Safety Program and promotes a culture ofsafety Manages work in process to meet deadlines and efficient billingAdministers proper collecting procedures (Charge, COD, Cash) Ensureswork orders are created with the proper segment order; ensurestechnician parts and labor are on the correct segments Works withcustomers to define scope of work/repairs on their equipment Createsaccurate service estimates for customers, obtains permission fromcustomer for the original work requested and advises customers on courseof action in repairs Manages fast and accurate response to after-hourscalls Handles all customer communications during the repairs,communicates warranty information, and handles complaints Assiststechnicians on complex diagnostic and repair issues Manages technicianproductivity; assigns work orders and schedules workload. Coaches andmentors technicians, understands their goals and prepare them for thenext step in their career Ensures technicians are trained properlythrough Ziegler internal and web-based training Completes fair andaccurate yearly reviews with Technicians; Provides appropriateimprovement recommendations Monitors vehicle maintenance, inspections,and DOT requirements for field service vehicle Qualifications: 2-yeartechnical degree preferred; High school degree required 2+ years ofrelevant diesel equipment knowledge preferred 2+ years in a lead orsupervisory position preferred Exhibit the values of the Ziegler WayStrong communication and organizational skills required Ability toproblem solve and think creatively to take care of customers in the mostefficient way required Committed to serving our customers and developinga team with the Ziegler Way values Strong computer skills required Basicunderstanding of warranty issues preferred Personal characteristics:planning/organization, customer focus, problem solving, eventemperament, leadership, strong written and verbal communication skillsMinimum...
