About the Role : As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will lead a team responsible for managing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. What You’ll Do:
Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Lead the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department timelines. Mentor and coach as needed.
Coordinate and lead facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
Prepare and run capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
Coordinate vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
Model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately sophisticated issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need:
Prefer background in commercial property management with oversight of a facility from 500,000sf - 1 million sf.
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3+ years of demonstrated experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
Extensive interpersonal skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $98,000 annually [or $47.12 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $115,000 annually [or $55.29 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
