　　ROOM SERVICE ASSISTANT 40 HR

　　Job Description:

　　Obtains patients’ meal selections for the appropriate diet order prescribed by the physician via the Room Service computer. Visits assigned patients to obtain meal selections or food preferences for the appropriate diet order as prescribed by the physician. Maintains and updates Room Service computer with patients’ name, current diet order, and specific diet modifications made by RD. Provides patients with accurate and pertinent information regarding dietary restrictions and special services available, (e.g. guest trays).

　　Will train on various positions in the kitchen as well as the diet office. This includes tray delivery, working the food line, and cash register. Strong customer service and food service experience highly preferred.
