JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Job Summary Fabricators manufactureassorted products using various raw materials, tools and their ownhands. Manufacture customized products that meet customer specificationsand prepare completed orders for shipment. Analyzes capacity andproduction data to determine manufacturing processes and requiredresources. Ensures quality control standards are maintained. MajorTasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Examines specificationsof the customer\'s order using drawings, work orders, or blueprints todetermine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to beused, and machine setup requirements. Fabricates work piece asdetermined by work order specifications. Retrieves correct materials andperforms various fabrication duties. Examines work piece visually, bytouch, or using tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meetsdesired standards. Packages for shipping. Installs protective devices,such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage toitems being transported. Maintains condition of work area (i.e., free oftrash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safetypolicies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Career LevelDimensions Typical Training/Experience HS Diploma or GED stronglypreferred.
