　　What you will doThe Fabrication Engineer is an office-based resource who supports the design and implementation of small/large complex jobs. They will work closely with local resources, either internal or subcontracted, to ensure a clear understanding of both system design and scope of work from a technical perspective. The FE is responsible for early awareness of large jobs & engagement with Sales Teams, the Centers of Excellence (COE), and Field Leadership. The FE will be aware of the technical competencies within the markets they support and recognize when delivery challenges may arise. This position is ultimately responsible for improving the customer experience and the financial performance of the jobs that they support.

　　How will you do it

　　Supporting the fabrication of large/complex jobs within the fabrication group.

　　Monitoring both 'Customer Experience' and 'Est. vs. Act. GM%' trends within their assigned markets.

　　Reviewing & reconciling system design, cost estimates, and scope of work documents for jobs in their area.

　　Participating in internal and external (customer) meetings as needed to review delivery plans.

　　Tracking parts inventories for Specialty Products production, especially custom parts with long lead times. Ordering parts when quantities are low.

　　Communicating proactively with Sales Teams and Centers of Excellence (COE) regarding new opportunities early in the pursuit/proposal process.

　　Tracking productive time (activity categories & categories) to capacity and financial performance models.

　　Provide monthly updates for each project within the forecast tool.

　　Provide bi-monthly revenue forecast updates within the forecast tool.

　　Provide submittals and blue lines as required.

　　Provide accurate documentation for billing cycle for each project.

　　What we look forRequired

　　Electrical design and mechanical design, computer networking skills.

　　Knowledgeable in network architectures.

　　Proficient in AutoCAD.

　　Knowledgeable in security architectures.

　　Relevant experience in systems integration

　　Ensure that accurate documentation is maintained.

　　Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently while paying close attention to detail

　　Ability to balance and communicate options

　　Preferred

　　Working knowledge of critical JCI platforms including Compass, TIP, Oracle, etc. preferred.
