Village Truck Sales is seeking a full-time excavation laborer to jointhe team! An Excavation Laborer is a critical member of a constructionor excavation team responsible for supporting various tasks related todigging, grading, and preparing construction sites. This role involvesphysically demanding work and requires the ability to operate equipment,follow safety protocols, and contribute to the successful execution ofexcavation projects. SHIFT: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday PAY:Based off experience RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist in setting up andpreparing the construction site for excavation, including removingobstacles and debris. - Use hand tools and equipment to dig trenches,ditches, and foundations according to specifications. - Load and unloadconstruction materials, tools, and equipment as needed. - Follow safetyguidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment foryourself and other team members. - Assist in the installation of shoringand trenching systems to prevent collapses and ensure worker safety. -Fill excavated areas with soil and other materials, compacting them tothe required density. - Clean and organize the work site at the end ofeach day, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience Preferred but willing to train -Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within ateam.
