　　As an Equipment Operator for the City, you will be performing manual tasks requiring skill in the use of small and large motorized equipment while interacting frequently with other department personnel.

　　Essential duties and responsibilities include:

　　Operate and maintain both heavy and light machinery in a safe and effective manner.

　　Maintain City tools and equipment in safe and effective operating conditions.

　　Maintain City vehicles.

　　May be assigned temporarily to other departments to provide related support.

　　May be requested to respond after hours.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications and Skill Requirements: Formal Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Training, Licenses, and Certifications: Valid Texas driver's license. Ability to obtain a Class A or B commercial driver's license (CDL) within six months of hire date.
