　　About this opportunity:

　　An Environmental Service Worker 2 is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and vision of the organization and within scope of services of the Department. This job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of comfort and cleanliness in the buildings and areas used by our patients, visitors and staff. At all times, duties are performed conscientiously in a safe and efficient manner, taking ownership and responsibility for the areas assigned and keeping customer expectations in mind. Performs floorecare and carpet shampoo duties.

　　Assists Environmental Services management by ensuring that all assigned departmental functions are completed in a timely manner according to hospital policy by providing leadership to Environmental Services staff in completion of their duties. Performs duties of Environmental Services staff positions based on staffing requirements and may function as shift supervisor during his/her absence. At all times performs duties conscientiously in a safe and efficient manner taking ownership in responsibilities assigned and keeping customer expectations in mind.

　　Qualifications

　　Required:

　　Minimum 2 year work experience in a hospital setting in environmental services.

　　Must be able to read and write basic English as defined by the organization.

　　Ability to communicate effectively with the public (employees, vendors, patients, volunteers, physicians, etc.) and with peers.

　　Preferred/Desired:

　　Prefer 2 year work experience in a hospital setting with carpet shampoo and floorcare machines in environmental services.Position represented by CHEU

　　Pay Range

　　$21.00 - $23.62 /hour
