Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Develop the knowledge base of Caterpillar’s products, technologies, processes, services and systems, which you will use to:
Learn and follow Caterpillar Engine Rating Development & Calibration process and procedure.
Work on Engine Performance and Emission development project, Engine Rating Development, meet customer request, and meet China or other Regional Regulations.
Conduct of engine performance test, understand the diesel engine test techniques
Create engine test plan, analyze test data, optimize engine performance and emission calibration to meet engineering target, create engineering report.
Summarize and communicate solution or summary via presentation to global customers, team members, and other business units regularly by means of tele-conference meetings.
Assist to contribute to the engine development of new products and processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in an accredited Engineering, Internal Combustion Engines, Thermal Energy, Vehicle Engineering or equivalent.
Good knowledge of internal combustion engine structure, engine performance, engine test, engine validation.
Excellent in problem analysis and solving skill
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
Creative, keep interest in taking challenge and pressure
Diligent, proactive, self-motived and open-minded
Excellent in English (oral & written) Good Interpersonal skills.
Hands-on

Engine control knowledge
Engine Regulations knowledge
Engine Emission knowledge
