Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for "Materials Engineering Technicians" for a large engineering consulting firm in Moorestown, NJ. The ideal candidate will perform regular testing, observation, and inspection of construction projects. They will communicate about the project site and project requirements with the PM, other engineering technicians, and the client. Each day, they will be dispatched to a job site, perform necessary responsibilities for the client; check-in with the PM with testing results; and contact dispatcher for another assignment or go home if work is complete. They will work on a single project site or go from project to project with 1-2 hours of the office (candidates will be reimbursed for milage/tolls & are paid for time in car). They will monitor fill placement, soil placements, work with concrete cylinders, and test concrete as it's placed. They will also transport material samples for further testing and analysis, and complete appropriate laboratory data entry. At the end of each day, they will complete a digital report of their findings. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, maintain and clean equipment, and adhere to strict safety standards.

　　Must Haves:

　　 · High school diploma/GED

　　 · Valid driver's license (clean record)

　　 · Reliable source of transportation

　　 · Able to pass drug and background check

　　 · Good communication skills (will be client facing) *military background

　　 · Prior experience in hands on position (construction, masonry, carpentry, landscaping, etc.)

　　 · Certifications:

　　   · NJDCA

　　   · AWS

　　   · ACI

　　   · CWI

　　   · ICC

　　   · NICET

　　Prior field experience (concrete testing, soil sample collections, etc.) null
