JobDescription Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:Develops and evaluates plans for projects and activities; assessestechnical feasibility and soundness of proposed analysis, tests, orconcepts being applied. Provides direct supervision of employees ofsimilar expertise for a large project or a number of small projects.Communicates performance expectations, salary administration, andconducts performance appraisals. Responsible for establishing andexecuting objectives that support short term goals. Makes decisionsindependently on engineering problems and methods; represents theorganization to resolve important issues and to plan and coordinatework. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetingsconcerning specific projects. Acts as an advisor to subordinate leads orstaff members.
