Engineering Aide Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #68578 Pay Range: $32-37 ph (W2) Duration: 6 - 12 mos Candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing 6S standards across the organization. This position requires a hands-on approach to drive efficiency, organization, and cleanliness within the workplace. The successful candidate will lead initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure a culture of continuous improvement. Qualification • Experience in a production, manufacturing, inventory control or sustainment environment • Familiarity with lean six sigma and continuous process improvement principles • Facilitate open dialogue and collaboration to ensure all team members are engaged in 6S initiatives • Collaborate with teams to implement feedback and optimize 6S standards accordingly • Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/Para engineering tasks and 3 Years of experience. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance Desire Skills • Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Word & Excel • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments • Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively independently & in a team environment • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification • Prior knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) good practices, circuit card handling, and electronic equipment familiarity • Experience working in a Laboratory Environment, familiarization with test equipment and function of common test equipment desired • Able to stand, walk and lift up to 25lbs continuously throughout the day Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
