Overview
This position will support the design of Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs), a position feedback sensor. Theoretical calculations, analytical calculations, and hands-on work are required to facilitate the design, manufacture, and testing of position sensors for position feedback on electromechanical, hydraulic and fueldraulic aerospace actuation applications. Role will include new product development, product improvements, creating and testing mockup hardware for performance verification, and contributing to the creation of new product guidelines. This position requires close collaboration with customer, supplier, operations / manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
Responsibilities
New Product Design and Development
Review and summarize customer requirements; Interfacing with customers and internal cross functional teams
Develop windings using available design tools. Data analysis
Compile test plans and reports
Problem solving / Trouble shooting
Qualifications
BSEE or BSME degree required as a minimum.
Minimum of 3 years of product design experience is desired. Entry level will be considered
Communication skills – Able to present complex technical data, both orally and in writing, in concise terms.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with MatLab/LabView desired.
Successful candidate must have good conceptual skills, work well in a dynamic team environment.
The candidate will be working in an experienced team possessing several years of LVDT design experience.
Compensation: $74,000.00 - $95,000.00 annual salary based on experience
