POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for completing field visits to retailstores and managing trade ally network documentation. In this hands-onfield role, you will represent our utility client to retailers,customers, and contractors and will work closely with program staff andexternal stakeholders to promote the residential rebate program andensure compliance with program requirements. The Energy Advisor Internwill maintain existing relationships in local markets through regularstore visits, report customer and retailer concerns for program stafffollow up, communicate eligible product specifications and programrequirements to retail store staff and customers, communicate programchanges with retail stores, track field interactions, and manage andtrack contractor program compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote energy efficient products to retail associates and consumersthrough in-store merchandising, promotions, and trainingDocument customer and contractor interactions to adhere to programrequirementsAct as local, on-site program and company representative tocustomers and store associates to encourage participation in theprogram and overcome barriersIdentify and resolve field pricing issuesWork directly with retailers to ensure strategies are implementedsmoothlySchedule promotional events{=html}<>- Approach position with a solution-centric mindset, identifying problems and researching solutions with supervision as needed- Work in various systems to ensure sales data received aligns with contracts and client requirements- Manage and track participating contractor compliance with program requirements- Update program databases to keep customer-facing information current
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Enrolled in a full-time associate or bachelor\'s degree program atan accredited college or university, preferably in applicable areaof focusMust be able to start the Summer Internship program in the middle ofMay and continue with the internship program until it commenc s inearly August1-2 years customer service, sales, or marketing experience requiredRelevant retail/merchandizing experience preferredRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
