JOB REQUIREMENTS: EMT Class - Oak Creek - 5364DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Overview Superior Air-Ground EMT Classesare operated under LSTI of Wisconsin. We are looking for highlymotivated and self-driven candidates to join the Emergency MedicalServices (EMS) Industry. We are offering EMT Sponsorship for our EMTStudent Program that will educate students and prepare them to take theNational Registry Exam and become a Wisconsin Licensed EMT while gettingPAID. The successful completion of the EMT class requirements and NREMTare required to be a licensed EMT. All materials are covered by SuperiorAmbulance Service (SAS). Upon receiving their Wisconsin EMT licensure,the student will be hired as a full-time employee and be required to beemployed full-time for one year and three months [15 months]. Possibleopportunity for provisional employment after 46 hours and good academicstanding in the class. There is NO cost for the selected students toattend the class unless they are unable to complete the one year andthree months of employment after licensure. The class is scheduled tobegin on March 25, 2024 and run on Monday and Wednesday.Responsibilities * Observational rider with current Superior AmbulanceField Employees * Learning State Protocols and Standards throughclassroom instruction * Represent the Company by being courteous,professional, and a patient advocate. * Maintain a clean, professionalappearance while maintaining courteous, professional, and ethicalbehavior while working cooperatively with other members of the healthcare system, co-workers, and the public. * Perform other duties asassigned including those specific to the local operation. * Regular andtimely attendance consistent with scheduled hours. Absences cannotexceed two classes. * Uses care and respect with all equipment andsupplies. * Must maintain an 80% average in the class to remain in theprogram and maintain employment.
