The Space Planner is a member of the Configuration Team within the Engineering Department and is primarily responsible for the development of minor renovation design packages, records maintenance, and process coordination in support of space management and planning at the Joint Defense Facility Pine Gap.

　　ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Responsibilities/Duties

　　Develop design packages and cost estimates in support of site space management and planning

　　Coordinate site space requests in accordance to space planning procedures

　　Prepare, develop and manage documentation for facility modifications

　　Facilitate creation and review of site facility architectural/space/furniture standards

　　Prepare and deliver facilities space reports and presentations as required

　　Develop and implement change management practices for space planning efforts

　　Maintain and update ARCHIBUS drawings and data types

　　Draft architectural and interior layout drawings for space proposals

　　Ensure compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirements

　　Any other reasonable duties as requested

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Essential

　　Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture or other relevant or related discipline

　　Good understanding of construction practices and basic architectural, data/communication, electrical, and mechanical design

　　Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, enough to complete conceptual and planning drafting requirements

　　Proficient in the use of MS Office application

　　Ability to lift up to 10 kg independently

　　Desirable

　　Registered Professional Engineer or Architect

　　PMP Certification

　　Post Graduate Qualifications

　　Australian White Card

　　Experience working in ARCHIBUS

　　SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
