　　The Industrial Electrician will safely and effectively execute electrical systems repairs on industrial equipment. Use in-depth knowledge of motors, indicating systems, transformers, switchboards (low voltage), motor controllers, circuit breakers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and other electrical equipment essential for production performance in a manufacturing facility to troubleshoot and repair machinery.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment and systems for emergency repairs.

　　Works from schematics, drawings, layouts or other specifications to install and test electrical systems or equipment

　　Perform Preventive Maintenance Systems tests and inspections, documenting results.

　　Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.

　　Uses test instruments to determine faults and replaces components

　　Work with a range of hand tools including electrical test equipment.

　　Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.

　　Assists specialists and engineers in making complex repairs.

　　Comply with all plant safety directives

　　Qualifications/ Experience:

　　High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

　　A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an electrician or similar role where electrical experience was gained (ie Electromechanical Technician)

　　In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.

　　Good communication skills.

　　Strong attention to detail with good applied mathematical skills.

　　Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.

　　Must be able to work well in a team environment.

　　Must be able to work a 2nd shift schedule, Mon-Fri.
